1. What information do I collect?
The information I collect depends on how you interact with me and the website. When you contact me, I may receive your name, email address, phone number, company name, position and information about your project, budget or requirements. I also receive any other information you choose to include in your message. If you become a client, I may also process business and billing details, proposals, contracts, invoices, project files, feedback and correspondence. This can include login details or access you provide so I can carry out the agreed work. When you visit the website, limited technical information may be processed. This can include the pages you visit, your approximate location, device and browser type, referring website, the time of your visit and information needed to keep the website secure and available.
2. Why do I use this information?
I use personal data to respond to questions and project enquiries, understand what you need, prepare proposals, schedule calls and provide the services we have agreed on. During a project, I use this information to communicate with you, manage the work, send invoices and maintain the necessary business records. Limited website information may also be used to understand how the website performs, improve its content and protect it against spam, misuse and technical problems. Information may also be processed when necessary to meet accounting or tax obligations or to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim. I do not sell or rent personal data.

When you request a proposal or become a client, processing is usually necessary to take steps before entering into a contract or to fulfil an existing agreement. Some information must be processed and retained to meet legal obligations, including tax and accounting requirements. Where processing depends on consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time.
4. How long do I keep information?
I only keep personal information for as long as it is reasonably needed. Enquiries that do not become projects may be kept for up to two years after our last meaningful contact. Project communication and working records may be retained for the duration of our relationship and for a reasonable period afterwards. Contracts, invoices and other compulsory business records are generally kept for seven years under Dutch law. Information needed for a legal dispute may be retained until that matter has been resolved. When information is no longer needed, it will be deleted or anonymised.

I only share personal information when it is necessary to operate my business, provide an agreed service or comply with the law. This may include Framer for website hosting and privacy-focused analytics, Calendly when you choose to book a meeting, and email or cloud-storage providers used for communication and project files. Relevant information may also be shared with accounting providers, professional advisers or public authorities when this is required. If you contact me through WhatsApp, your message and contact information are processed through WhatsApp’s service. These providers process information either under their own terms or on my instructions, depending on the service involved.
6. International data transfers
Some of the service providers I use may process information outside the European Economic Area. Where required, these transfers are protected through an adequacy decision, approved Standard Contractual Clauses or another safeguard recognised under applicable privacy law. For example, Calendly may process booking information in the United States and other countries using recognised transfer safeguards.

This website is created and hosted using Framer. Framer may process technical information needed to deliver, secure and maintain the website. Its built-in analytics provide general information about website use without relying on persistent tracking cookies. This may include aggregated information about page views, traffic sources, devices and approximate visitor locations. I use this information to understand which parts of the website are useful and where improvements may be needed. 8. Calendly, WhatsApp and external platforms
The website contains links to services such as Calendly, WhatsApp, LinkedIn and Instagram. When you follow one of these links, you leave this website and interact directly with that provider. The provider may process information according to its own privacy and cookie policies. If you schedule a meeting through Calendly, I receive the information needed to arrange and manage that meeting. If you contact me through WhatsApp, your message and contact details are processed using WhatsApp’s service.
9. Cookies
Cookies are small files that websites can store on your device. This website may use essential technology needed for security, performance and basic functionality. Framer’s built-in website analytics do not rely on tracking cookies. I do not currently use advertising cookies or tracking pixels to follow visitors across different websites. If optional analytics, advertising tools or third-party embeds are added in the future, they will not be activated before consent where consent is legally required.

You can view, block or delete cookies through your browser settings. If this website introduces cookies that legally require consent, you will be given a clear choice to accept or refuse them. Refusing optional cookies will not prevent you from accessing the main website. Withdrawing consent will be made as easy as providing it.

Access is limited to the people and service providers that reasonably need it. However, no website, email service or online platform can guarantee absolute security. Please do not send passwords, financial information or other highly sensitive information through an ordinary contact form or email unless it is necessary and an appropriate secure method has been agreed.

Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to ask which personal information I hold about you and receive a copy of it. You may also ask me to correct inaccurate information, delete information, restrict its use or transfer certain information to you or another organisation. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent that you previously provided. These rights are not absolute. I may ask for additional information to confirm your identity and will normally respond within one month.

I do not use personal information to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects through a fully automated process. I also do not use website visitors’ information to build advertising profiles.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, through autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
